Innovation and Fake News!
Hackathons are a way of creative problem solving by young people. This year, we are organizing a first Hackathon in English for University students in Hungary. The topic of our competition is Innovation and Fake News.
Our organization: “Jövőképző,” the education branch of the “Indítsuk Be Magyarországot Foundation” will organize the event in Budapest. We are enabled thanks to the work and framework of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. With local other organizations, parallel Hackathons are organized in Brussels, Athens and Prague
Participants shall be university students from Bachelor and Master studies in any University in Hungary. There is no age limit as long as the students are enrolled actively in University. Requirements of participation is to have a team of minimum two people and maximum four. Participants need to be fluent in English.
Participants will compete in a public hearing for a price and will get the opportunity to network with experts on the topic of Innovation and Fake news. This is your opportunity to come forward and test your case solving skills using Innovation and new technologies to improve the quality of our democracies.
